Hello, this is a picture of my best friend in college. His name was Stuart Rief and the picture was in the After Dark Magazine. I have the issue somewhere and a few of his headshots. He passed from AIDS and I think of him everyday. He was the most beautiful man I have ever met and he had the biggest heart. I stumbled on this while googling b&w pictures of gay men from the 70’s. Where did you get the picture? Thanks for posting it. Dennis

Hi Dennis, i wish i could remember where i found it, i think it was probably retro Tumblr site, but i can’t be sure. It’s such a fantastic photo. I’m sorry for the loss of your friend, i’m sorry for the loss of all our friends to that hidious disease.
